Class A Regional Championship: Deja Vu

ANNANDALE ON THE HUDSON — Sharieka will have the game-story, as I missed most of the match writing the Suffern article, but I'll to keep you as updated as possible for the remainder of this match.

Harrison came out roaring out of the gate, leading 15-4 in the first set. Unfortunately the Huskies dropped the set to Cornwall Central, falling behind 1-0. Harrison went on to drop the next set as well, putting them one set from elimination, yet again.

Like their Sectional championship against Ursuline, Harrison climbed back to take the third set, keeping them alive to fight another game. Currently in the fourth set, Cornwall got out to a big 8-0 lead to start the set, and now lead 21-10.

Cornwall spiked another point, and lead 22-10, then served into the net, making the score 22-11. Harrison got a little bobbled up with the ball, and now are down to their last point.

Harrison's set goes out of bounds, dropping the final set. Harrison has now been elminated from competition; Cornwall Central eliminated Harrison in the Regional tournament last year as well.

The Class B match up of Pelham and Red Hook, will take place momentarily, projected start time around 3:00 p.m. Section 1 will look to send it's third team to the State tournament next week. Pelham is a heavy favorite, although for Red Hook, this is as close to a home match as you can get.
